Cosmetic Stem Cell Therapy

Everyone of us has heard something interesting about stem cell therapy, that it can be used to treat anything from arthritis pain, to spinal cord injury, to heart failure, and to cancer. Cosmetic Stem Cell Therapy promises to isolate the stem cell from fat tissue and inject into aging tissue to stimulate rejuvenation.

In theory, the stem cell concept is extremely fascinating. However, in practice, all research in stem cell appeared to run into a deadend. In other words, except for the original embryonic stem cell (the fertilized egg), there’s not much else scientists understand about somatic (body) stem cell. In fact, no scientist has been able to isolate a CELL that is stem cell. The best we can do is to isolate a group of cells that acts like stem cells (regenerating).

In terms of stem cell therapy, the only FDA approved treatment is the blood stem cell treatment for leukemia or lymphoma. I have extraordinarily improve the outcome of these cancer. The rest of the claims out there are just based on some case reports or anectodal results.

This is Dr. Ha’s summary of his view about stem cell therapy, based on his research background on cancer stem cell research: if we understand stem cells so well to the point that we can isolate them, we have a cure for all kinds of cancer. This is because if we have a cancer stem cell in hand, we can target a specific drug to kill that cell, which, in turn, destroys the rest of the cancer population.

FDA has just recently investigated into some major stem cell therapy companies in Texas. Please follow the links below for more information.

In general, if it sounds too good to be true, it may not be true at all, especially when it comes to anti-aging a process that no organism has been able to resist over millions of years.
